Privacy policy

How MedicareVeterans.org handles analytics, cookies, outbound link tracking, and your privacy choices. We collect no names, health data, or government identifiers.

Effective June 2026

Overview

MedicareVeterans.org ("we," "us") is a privately-owned educational website. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell insurance, we do not enroll anyone in plans, and we do not ask for Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, VA file numbers, or health information.

Information we collect

Automatically collected data. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device type, and how visitors arrive. GA4 uses cookies and similar identifiers. We do not collect names, emails, or account data, because the site has no accounts or forms.

Outbound link analytics. When you click a link to a partner site (MedicareAgents.com or PlanMatch.com) or an official resource (Medicare.gov, va.gov), we record the click event in analytics so we can see which guides are useful. What you do on those sites is governed by their privacy policies, not ours.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or browse with tracking protection enabled. The site works fully without cookies.

Third-party links

Our guides link to government resources (va.gov, tricare.mil, medicare.gov, ssa.gov), nonpartisan research (KFF), and our partner sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.

Children's privacy

This site is written for adults navigating Medicare and veterans benefits. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state law (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the Colorado Privacy Act) may give you rights to access or delete personal data. Because we collect only aggregate analytics and no directly identifying information, there is generally nothing personal for us to retrieve — but you may exercise applicable rights through the analytics opt-outs above.

Changes to this policy

We'll post updates to this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

You earned these benefits. Make them work together.

Whether you keep exactly what you have or add Medicare coverage alongside it, the right answer depends on your health, budget, and how you like to get care.
